The first iteration of the event, held from 29–30 April 2026, drew 1,858 attendees and featured 95 exhibitors alongside 52 speakers.
According to Applied Market Information (AMI), the organiser of the show, 46 exhibitors have already secured space for 2027, which is scheduled for 7–8 April.
Confirmed participants include American Truetzschler, Bank & Vogue, Brighi USA, FIMIC, Garson & Shaw, Gneuss, JS Royal Home, Just Porch It, Looptworks, Matoha, Thryfter Technologies, and UNIFI, among others.
In a statement released on 20 July, AMI said: “Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2026, organisers have confirmed that the exhibition will return, creating opportunities for companies looking to reach a highly engaged audience of brands, recyclers, manufacturers, technology providers, policymakers and investors.”
Textiles Recycling Expo USA has “quickly established” itself as a central meeting point for organisations invested in the future of textile recycling as the industry advances with increased investment, new legislation, and ongoing innovation.
According to AMI, participation in the show enables companies to generate sales leads among professionals in their target industry, present their products and services to key decision-makers, introduce new technologies, and enhance their presence in the North American market.
In addition, Textiles Recycling Expo USA helps businesses position themselves within the rapidly evolving textiles recycling sector and establish new industry partnerships.
MacroCycle Technologies, which is claimed to have achieved “immediate” commercial success in the debut event, noted: "Just by having a booth, we've been able to meet so many brands that we were not expecting to meet […] out of this expo alone, we may have over $100,000 worth of initial projects already in the pipeline."
