Denim apparel brand 7 For All Mankind has launched a plus-size range of jeans for women, accommodating sizes 23-34, and tapping into a growing and under-served sector of the market.

“7 For All Mankind has always been about style and comfort – specially being comfortable in one’s own skin. We stand behind that more than ever with denim to accommodate sizes 23-34,” the brand said as it launched its #WeAreMankind campaign.

“With this, the brand aims to make the shopping experience more inclusive to more body types – both online and indoors. Because mankind includes all bodies, we’ve proudly extended our women’s denim sizing to be even more inclusive.”

The campaign enlisted six brand ambassadors to help premiere the collection for autumn and winter 2018. These include Paloma Elsesser, a model and leading body positivity advocate, who will be the face for the brand this season. She has been active in supporting plus size fashion for the industry.

7 For All Mankind has also updated its website with the extended sizing selection for women, which includes more than 20 denim fits, including its skinny and high-waisted styles.

The move by the brand, owned by Delta Galil, is one of a number made this year in a bid to broaden its appeal to a wider audience.
