We first revealed that this exciting product was in the pipeline a year ago, but behind the scenes it has been more than four years in the making.

The idea for re:source first came about through conversations with the many industry contacts made during just-style’s 18 years of reporting on the apparel industry and its supply chain. One point we kept hearing time and time again was that sourcing teams are under pressure to make better, faster decisions – but lacked a quick and easy way to track down the information to help them.

So we came up with a new tool – called re:source – to navigate the complex matrix that spans global trade rules and regulations, countries, regions and product categories.

And we’ve been designing, coding, testing, future-proofing, and verifying it with some of the world’s biggest brands, retailers and manufacturers.
