AI-based app named top start-up

SiBi (See It Buy It), which claims to be the world's only 100% AI-based apparel marketplace, has been named top start-up with the most investment opportunity at a recent innovation fair in the US.

SiBi (See It Buy It), which claims to be the world’s only 100% AI-based apparel marketplace, has been named top start-up with the most investment opportunity at a recent innovation fair in the US.

Investors at the Innovation Fair 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona, voted with virtual currency and the mobile apparel marketplace app received more than double the investment total of the next nearest company. The app was also recognised for having the top pitch in the fair’s Fast Pitch competition.

As the top start-up, SiBi was invited to pitch the company on the main stage at the end of the event to a panel of celebrity investors. After hearing CEO Joe Monastiero’s pitch, all five of the judges said they would be interested in investing in SiBi.

According to makers nFlate, SiBi is the first end-to-end mobile apparel marketplace to use artificial intelligence to help shoppers find fashion fast with its ability to shop using Instagram posts, photos or by favourite colours. 

The app’s Shop Instagram feature allows users to view and buy products directly through the app, streamlining the online shopping process by removing the need to search a brand’s website for the desired product and its price. 

The SiBi marketplace is available as iOS and Android apps in 45 countries. 

Late last year, nFlate rolled out its technology to 31 additional countries, in a move that streamlines the online shopping process for an additional 700m shoppers.
