Digital textile printing technology specialist Kornit Digital has set up a new office to serve the fast-growing UK market.
The new Kornit Digital UK entity is exclusively focused on the United Kingdom, which the company says is its largest market in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) region.
Kornit Digital develops and manufactures industrial digital printing technologies for the garment and textile industries.
Investing in a UK-based hub will enable the company to address the growing need for sustainable on-demand production, and reflects the brand’s strategy of enabling proximity production.
Online retail sales in the United Kingdom nearly doubled from 2013 to 2019, reaching more than GBP76bn last year – making it the third-biggest e-commerce market globally after China and the United States.
