UK retailer Marks and Spencer has developed a selection of clothing for children and babies who may have disabilities or experience difficulty dressing.
The company’s new ‘Kids Easy Dressing’ range is designed for youngsters living with disabilities and aims to help the dressing process for individuals, parents and caregivers.
From all-in-ones that allow for a cast to T-shirts and dresses with discreet pockets for feeding tubes, the line was developed to “make dressing easier, quicker, more comfortable, and more fun,” M&S says.
The retailer has also ensured that all of the clothing is made using the softest materials to help those with sensitive skin.
Available online now, the collection ranges from GBP3 (US$3.95) for a pure cotton sleeveless bodysuit to a Fisherman hooded jacket priced at GBP36 (US$47.40). It caters for newborns to 16-year-olds.
US department store retailer Target Corp unveiled a similar selection of clothing last year under its largest-ever private label apparel brand, Cat & Jack.
