ShinWon’s strategy focuses on strengthening its data infrastructure and automating workflows to facilitate the broader integration of AI into areas such as production, logistics, and procurement.
ShinWon AI team deputy team leader Andrew Han said: “The core of AI integration lies in securing high-quality data and creating an efficient environment for its use.
“By streamlining global supply chain data through SAP and expanding RPA-driven automation, we are building a foundation for AI-based decision-making. This will integrate data across production, logistics, and procurement to enhance operational speed, stability, and responsiveness to global clients.”
As part of this initiative, ShinWon is developing AI-based market intelligence and trend forecasting systems. The goal is to strengthen the company’s ability to analyse market dynamics and quickly apply those insights within product planning and production strategy.
The company anticipates that improved sales forecasting will help refine production planning, inventory management, and materials procurement, contributing to greater efficiency within the supply chain.
In addition, the manufacturer is advancing automation of manual data management and repetitive tasks to allow employees to concentrate on higher-value strategic activities.
The deployment of ChatGPT Enterprise is expected to promote AI use throughout the organisation, enhance collaboration among its international offices, and expedite decision-making.
Previous digital innovation efforts at ShinWon have included RFID-enabled logistics management to boost traceability and the establishment of smart factories.
The current AI-led transformation, described as the AX initiative by the company, is intended to further build on these developments and expand data-driven approaches throughout its operational framework.
ShinWon CEO JJ Park said: “In the global fashion industry, securing supply chain visibility and operational agility has surpassed cost competitiveness as the key differentiator. Through this AX initiative, we will integrate AI and data to organically connect our global operations, cultivate a data-driven decision-making culture, and ultimately evolve into an ‘Intelligent Enterprise’ that responds swiftly to market changes and delivers more reliable services to our customers.”
