Primark recalls flip-flops on cancer chemical fears
British value clothing retailer Primark has recalled thousands of men’s flip flops found to contain the cancer-causing chemical chrysene. The China-made products contain polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), including carcinogen chrysene. According to the EU’s Rapex alert system, a person could be exposed if the product comes into direct and prolonged or repetitive contact with the skin.
