EXCLUSIVE: Amazon losses highlight wider trend across apparel

E-commerce giant Amazon has reported a net loss of US$3.8bn for the first quarter ending 31 March compared to a profit of $8.1bn for the same period last year and a GlobalData analyst suggests these results reflect the issues facing the wider apparel retail sector.
